Kansas City Chiefs Confirm Domestic Violence Allegations Connected to Player the Athlete
The NFL franchise released a comment Wednesday night confirming they have knowledge of domestic violence allegations circulated in online accounts by a ex-partner of player Rashee Rice and were in communication with the NFL.
The organization omitted the name of Rice by name in their announcement and said they would have “no further comment at this time”.
Allegations Shared on Instagram
Dacoda Nichole Jones, who likewise did not name Rice directly, posted a series of photos on Instagram that seemed to depict indicators of bodily harm. She did say the individual in question was the father of her children, and reports indicate she has kids with Rice, whom the Chiefs drafted in the 2023 draft.

Statistically, Rice concluded the year with 53 receptions for 571 receiving yards and five touchdowns as the Chiefs went with a losing record and failed to qualify for the postseason for the first occasion in a ten-year span.
